To help grow its business in Russia and neighboring countries, Dayco, a leading engine products and drive systems supplier for the automotive, industrial and aftermarket industries, today announced it will showcase its line of aftermarket engine components and kits during Automechanika Moscow, August 22 – 25, 2016 at the Expocentre in Moscow, Russia. During the four-day event, Dayco will educate customers on the availability of its line of heavy duty engine components, timing belt water pump kits and timing belt-in-oil kits. Introduced in the European market in 1994, Dayco aftermarket kits align with the company’s focus on providing system solutions to its customers. As Ford’s drive system supply partner, Dayco designed the world’s first timing belt-in-oil drive system for automotive applications in 2007 when it developed the engineering solution to supersede the previous chain-driven, high-pressure injection pump for the popular Lynx engine. The Lynx engine had been widely used to power various Focus, C-Max, S-Max, Mondeo, Galaxy, Tourneo Connect and Transit Connect models between 1998 and 2013. Since its successful introduction, Dayco’s timing belt-in-oil technology has been incorporated into several engines from other vehicle manufacturers including PSA and VAG, as well as additional Ford engines such as its multi award-winning 1.0-litre EcoBoost unit. Unveiled in 2014, Dayco timing belt-in-oil replacement kits are available for the most popular, applicable vehicles in Europe. “Dayco bundles multiple engine components that work together with the timing belt and have similar lifecycles allowing professional technicians or do-it-yourself customers to replace all parts concurrently, resulting in extended life, service efficiencies and convenience for the end customer,” said Diego Grigoletto, Sales Director for Dayco in Europe.
